Candle Making Class

This is it! Each class is limited to 12 tickets so the experience is intimate and comfortable. Classes take place inside The Velvet Casket - Austin’s Only Dark Mall. 

Come learn how to make your own wood wick soy candles at Ella’s Apothecary’s candle making class, led by the owner and crafter, Gratien Jamail.

Your ticket includes exclusive entry into the Velvet Casket, 2 hours of instruction and guidance (with shopping and beverage breaks), and one glass skull shaped candle that you will make yourself under the direct hands-on guidance of a candle making master. The glass skull jar is reusable and you will have the option to purchase a take home kit that includes enough supplies to refill your candle 4 more times at home.

During your breaks, grab a (provided) glass of wine or water, then walk around the Velvet Casket and shop at Ella’s Apothecary, Grotesque Anomaly, Heathenly Highway, and Neverending Stickers. You can also sign up for a tarot reading from Chaos Readings, and enter Parapeculiar - Haunted Museum. There are also a few other beverage options for purchase at the counter, such as cans of Liquid Death and Cold Brew Coffee. (Any shopping or extra experiences are purchased separately in person) 

Look for an email after your purchase that has your ticket QR code, location of the event, and other details. You do not need to bring anything except your good vibes and whatever else you need to shop if you choose to do so. If you have any questions, email Gratien@ellasapothecary.net

**Pro Tip: If you want a table all to yourself (or you and one other person), you must purchase three tickets total. Currently each class is limited to 12 tickets total.

**Arrive early so you can get a drink and look around and get settled in. Class will start promptly at 6pm!
